virtual shopping mall that specializes in quality audio video equipment.
Our mall currently receives about 16,000 unique visitors per day that are
specifically in the market for high end audio products. This is in
addition to our 58,000 membership base. You will see all types of specs
for a website, much like amplifiers. The same levels of exaggeration are
common, only you will hear about Hits instead of Watts. The only spec that
counts is "Unique Visitors".
Like high end audio, our virtual mall emphasizes
quality over quantity. The Videogon, unlike eBay or Yahoo, attracts the
specific customer that you are looking for. Our selective marketing,
customer support, and user friendly technologies attract consumers that you will
not find at other venues. Our research shows that that the typical
Videogon visitor buys seven high end components per year, in addition to
numerous tweaks and cables.
You the merchant are an important piece of our
business plan. In order for high end commerce to flourish there must be
knowledgeable dealers. You are encouraged to read on to determine at what
level you wish to participate at the "Gon".
Commercial User
Your first step is to register with us, as a Commercial
User. The quick and simple process will allow you to choose a Username and
a Password. As soon as you receive the confirmation email, you will be
ready to list gear for sale. Commercial accounts start with a $20.00
credit, and are charged on a per listing basis. Currently, there is a
$5.00 insertion fee per listing, whether it is a classified or an auction.
Featured Dealer
Vendors who maintain 10 or more listings should consider upgrading to a Featured
Dealership. In addition to the above, Featured Dealers enjoy the following
benefits:
- Dramatically increase your presence at Videogon.
- Your company is listed at the head of our Browse
section, our busiest page.
- You will be able to list Dealer Demos, for more traffic and
better prices.
- You will have access to Store Manager, which is a super fast inventory system.
- We will provide 24 hour email support and continuous monitoring of traffic to
your listings.

About our team
The Videogon was founded by a specialty audio retailer, an
investment management executive, and an e-commerce expert. Our goal is to
provide a comprehensive virtual marketplace for high end audio and home theater.
We started by building the best pre-owned audio marketplace in the world.
Then we invited retailers to set up their shops in our bustling high end mall.
Next we will be spinning off the retail sales to a separate site which will
promote products from authorized dealers only. Videogon collects the
experiences of its numerous dealers to chart a course for this industry on the
