Eligibility
This contest is open to registered members only, who can show that they have reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction
in which they reside. Winners may include residents and non-residents of the
United States, though some shipping costs may apply to non-residents as
described below. Employees, officers, and directors of VideogoN, AudiogoN,
AVSForum, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries,
licensees and fulfillment agencies, and immediate family
members, are NOT eligible to participate in this contest. Void if prohibited in
your state or country. All federal, provincial, state, and local laws and
regulations apply.
Odds of winning
Due to the nature of internet drawings, we are not able to predict the number
of entries. Each person may have multiple entries, so the more entries you have the better chance of
winning. Each person/household may win at most one prize. Thus, if one
of your entries is drawn as a winner, your remaining entries will be removed.
Prizes and winning
The first winner drawn may choose either of the prizes
being offered. The second winner drawn will receive the remaining prize. No assignment, barter or transfer of prizes, or selection of an alternative
prize or other substitution is permitted except at Videogon's sole
discretion. All applicable U.S. federal, state, and local taxes, duties, or
other taxes or fees are the sole responsibility of the winners. For winners
outside of the US, all applicable taxes of the winner's home country and city
are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Transportation arrangements and costs
to and from the destination are the responsibility of the winner.
All prize values are expressed
as approximate values and not redeemable for cash. Videogon reserves the
right to replace any of the prizes with like merchandise of approximately
similar retail value. Certain
merchandise prizes may not be available to non-US
residents if restricted by local or trade laws. Winner acknowledges and assumes
these risks when he/she participates in the Contest.
Winners may decline
Any winner may choose to decline their prize, in which case
we will select another random winner. If a winner does not respond to
the emailed notification within 72 hours, the entry will be considered void
and another winner will be selected.
Publicity of winners
By accepting any prize offered herein, the winner agrees to the use of his/her
Username, First name, Last initial, and limited biographical information (city and
state), for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further
compensation or consideration in any and all media throughout the world, unless
prohibited by law.
Rules are binding
Participation in this promotion constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance
of these Rules. We reserve the right to disqualify any person or
submission that, in its sole discretion, determines to be in violation of any term contained
in these Rules, or our general Terms of Use. Our decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a
waiver of that restriction or the ability to enforce that restriction in the
future.
Release of
liability
You agree to release and hold Videogon, AVSForum, their employees,
officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies,
affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and
legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and
actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from
acceptance, possession or use of any prizes, including without limitation, personal injury, death and
property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of
privacy
IN NO EVENT WILL VIDEOGON, OR ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES
AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR
RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE
RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT,
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN
CONNECTION WITH YOUR (1) ACCESS TO AND USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS, THE SITE,
(2) DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THIS SITE, (3)
PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION, OR (4) ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION, THE PROMOTION AND ALL PRIZES, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND
